So Trump just pardoned the former prez of Honduras, who:

-took a $1M bribe from El Chapo:
-was aided his in clemency campaign by Roger Stone
-ran for reelection despite a law against it, thus setting off political violence that killed dozens.

In case you’re wondering why Pete Hegseth is freaking out about a congressional video reminding the military not to participate in illegal orders:
To put a finer point on this whole thing: "Two people with direct knowledge of the operation" — presumably uniformed military leaders — are accusing the U.S. Secretary of Defense of personally ordering specific war crimes. That's a historic accusation.

The “kill them all” order by SecDef Hegseth would be a textbook war crime even if the original attack had been legal.
It is unfathomable that the USG lawyers would sign off on a no-survivors boat strike (no get of jail free card).

There's clear precedent dating back to World War II trial of Germans for that very act, which lawyers know well.
