At this juncture I’d like to point out:
* we’re on the brink of a golden age of medical healing
* there’s enough money in the world to solve every problem in the world
* a united approach could stop the climate crisis
But a small group of sociopaths seeking personal power are going to throw it away.

Just went to the American Holocaust Museum in DC. Saw a kid wearing a MAGA hat. Apparently the answer to the questions on signs all around this building about if you’d recognize hatred is a “no” for that guy…

Over the next several months, we’re gonna see which pastors were just celebrating Dietrich Bonhoeffer because it was the cool thing to do, and which recognized the narrow way of Jesus when they saw it.

Pure and faultless religion? Caring for the oppressed. James 1:27.
Wow. Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde fearlessly calls out Trump and Vance to their faces. This is heroic.

Musk comes from a family that moved to South Africa *for* the racism. He has repeatedly endorsed Great Replacement Theory in the US & Neo-Nazis of the AfD in Germany. He championed the rights of white nationalists and restored Nazi accounts to Twitter.

But I'm sure the Nazi salute was an accident.

25/ It's not forever. We can go back to fighting about school vouchers and the benefits of free trade as soon as democracy is safe again. I promise. But for now, the bigger the pro-democracy coalition, the safer our country is.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to 'order' than to justice. - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

It was the same in 2019 with Trump and Pompeo- talking about how the melting of the Artic would liberate minerals. I included this greed-fantasy in #Strongmen
Translation: He wants its rare-earth minerals for himself. Pro tip: Always look through the nonsense noise for the inevitable grift.

I find myself exhausted by the promises of Trump’s final term, and it hasn’t even begun. So, in case anyone else needs to hear it, this is what I tell myself:

If you need to give up today, that’s okay—just don’t give up on tomorrow. 1/

Just a reminder that your local library has more than books! Many also have dvds, cds, video games, game systems, internet hot spots, streaming services, ebooks, audio books, park passes, museum passes, and so much more! Maybe it's time for a visit! ❤️📚

Millionaires and billionaires would be perfectly FINE not getting salary for 33 days, or even 333 days.

The average American, folks like you and me working paycheck to paycheck, would not. Do NOT let billionaires make decisions for US.

PASS IT ON.

This is one medication, not the solution to every issue caused by the healthcare industry. We need reform—not one cheaper medication.

This is the modern equivalent of “If the poor are starving, let them eat cake.”
