Harvard hasn't been "totally antisemitic." But ADL, AIPAC, Democratic/GOP members of Congress, and much of the media let Trump get away w/ this crap. Kanye West is "totally antisemitic." Trump had dinner w/ him & Hitler fanboy Nick Fuentes. The reporter who asked this should have challenged Trump.
Trump, who referred to bankers as "shylocks" a couple days ago, says Harvard "has been very bad. Totally antisemitic."

No matter what you think of any party's position on crime, the reliance on academics & defence counsel to comment on criminal law in the media is problematic. That academics are quoted as speaking on behalf of or representing the experiences of prosecutors makes little sense to me.

Advocating for Palestinian rights doesn't mean you believe Israel shouldn't exist or are antisemitic. That kind of thinking needs to stop. Many people advocate for Palestinians in different ways. Don't assume they are antisemitic or anti-Israel. Israelis & Palestinians must look forward together.

It's easy to fight for the due process & the legal rights of those who you think are innocent or whom you believe are righteous. But it is even more important to speak out in favour of the #ruleoflaw & due process when those you disagree with are subject to arrest, detention, or deportation.

I totally agree with @karenattiah.bsky.social, but isn't she a columnist at the @washingtonpost.com? Her employer didn't fumble the ball, he passed it directly to Donald Trump and she still works there. If Americans are going to stand on principle & stand together, it can't just be sometimes.

When I was young, there were <1,000 bald eagles in the lower 48 due to DDT, hunting, and habitat loss, and we never saw one the whole time roaming the prairies and mountains of SD. Today, there are 70,000+ and I see them daily. Governments can and should effect positive change.
