The thing about the word queer is that is was, at one point. used as a slur so a certain generation asking you not to use it makes sense.
However, for me, I like the nebulousness of queer. It's roomy. It doesn't require me to explain gender or sexuality.
Which is precisely why bad actors hate it.

The frustrating part of this to me, as someone with a streamer girlfriend, is that there kind of isn't a discord alternative if you need voice chat and screenshare. Like discord is the only option for a lot of people's setups as things stand. If they become unusable I genuinely dunno what we do

Well 4 years of nitro and that's that over. Hopefully a good Discord alternative pops up that a good chunk of people I know can migrate to. It's an annoyance but I really don't want to have multiple different apps just to talk to people and communities I like
