I have obtained a copy of the Flood Advisory issued by Met Éireann to local authorities today showing an orange level flood risk for many parts of East and South. I cannot see why it is not made public as I believe it is in the public interest to share it so I am sharing it.

This, my friends, will be the thing that will spell the end of humans as the dominant species on this planet
Found out that my jacket has a little USB cable that if you plug into a power source, will heat the jacket.

"YOU'RE TRYING TO SHUT DOWN DEBATE ON IMMIGRATION"

If your standard of debate on immigration leads to IPAS centres being set on fire with people inside, then yes, I am trying to shut down your debate on immigration.

It’s understandable that Carey managed to dupe people’s generosity, but it’s a bit embarrassing that the CEO of a major mobile telecommunications company didn’t recognise a picture of an iPhone cable 😳

A real test for politicians and gardaí.

There's been a years-long campaign of arson/attempted arson at IPAS centres - even buildings rumoured to be considered for asylum seekers.

We've had far-right instigated riots in our capital, at CityWest and Coolock; arson at TD's property... (1/2)

That’s two-thirds of the way to the airport. Just a little bit further and it would be closer than much of the long-term car parks

Reminds me of the story I heard about a person who was going to be fired, but on the day he was to be told, he called in sick. On his return a week later, they forgot to rearrange meeting to fire him and he stayed with that company for another 20 years

Of the major newspapers, it seems the Irish Examiner has been the only one to have a balanced analysis of the #áras25 vote results
The rest are just right wing mouthpieces

Catherine Connolly secured the first preference votes of 914,143 people — the most of any Irish politician ever.

She is the 10th Uachtarán na hÉireann and, when inaugurated on November 11, will take her place in the annals of history.

Our politicians cannot ignore the spoiled votes. But that doesn’t mean we should change policies to include their demands, it means that progressive and centrist politicians should take on and combat the lies that has made those voters feel that way
