🇪🇺 The EU is the world's largest trader in services with 22.8% of global services trade.
🇬🇧 The UK used to be the services capital of the EU before Brexit.
🇪🇺 Rejoining the EU would allow us to sell services freely across the EU via the Single Market and globally via the Customs Union.

Thought for the day: The NHS is a fabulous institution. It was the first national health service in the world. It ensures that every person is treated regardless of ability to pay. You don’t mess with that. What you do is fund it properly and manage it properly. Taxes are good. 😌

The UK Government is feeding an authoritarian cuckoo.

Calling non-violent protesters terrorists, locking them up, then banning them from meeting friends or internet communication after release.

These tools of repression will be used by the fascism they’ve fed.

Leaving the ECHR would allow the State Pension, the Minimum Wage, Sick Pay, Maternity Pay, Paid Holiday and working hour limits to all be abolished.

They would make hundreds of billions from this.

That is what they want.

I don't know where this revisionism has come from about the suffragettes - people saying "if the suffragettes were around today, they'd be considered terrorists."

The suffragettes were arrested and tortured, sexually assaulted and beaten by the state. They *were* considered terrorists!

Reform UK’s Nigel Farage with the Russian Ambassador (that he denied meeting), and with Oleg Voloshyn's wife Nadia Borodi, Voloshyn bribed Nathan Gill.

Farage is still silent.

It’s deafening.

So, here we have it.

Not a spontaneous decision by local people to display pride in the national flag, but something imposed on locals by an organisation with access to a cherry picker, traffic cones, and a hotline to the Police to assist them in obstructing the highway.
Flags went up in Stirchley a few days ago & were taken down by local residents the same evening.

The men returned with a cherry picker and coned off parts of the road with police accompanying them as they put up new flags along the High Street.

Residents who object have been met with verbal abuse.

This tweet has been doing the rounds on Twitter now that Nathan Gill has pleaded guilty.

If only someone had tried to investigate UKIP & Russian interference 🧐

There’s another timeline where the Guardian supported me, doubled down on the investigation & I look 5 years younger ..

Nathan Gill is no fringe politician.

He was the leader of the Reform Party and before that UKIP in Wales.

A Brexit Party MEP.

A friend and ally of Nigel Farage, who in 2016 called him:

"terrific," and "as honest as the day is long."

This is a MASSIVE story

They have been doing this for a long time … but guess what, like the Danes and other Nordic countries, they pay decent taxes. They also keep the far right out by having a press that supports facts over opinions and that’s well regulated. The UK could learn a lot from this!
“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”

It costs a lot less to house people.
