Rewatched •Dead Ringers• and it was uncomfortable in a great way. Body horror is one of my favorite types of horror and this delivered. Also how have they not made replicas of the tools for mutated women? Am I the only person who would display those on my office shelf? #horrorsky #filmsky

•House of the Devil• was pretty good. It was a very slow burn, but it looked great, and the end was pretty brutal. Some might find it too slow but I like slow paced films so it worked for me. I like that this was filmed like an 80s or early 90s film. 4/5⭐️ I really, really like it. #filmsky

Watched •Friendship• with my husband. We loved it, but I’m not surprised by this, we love absurd things. I don’t think this is for everyone. It went in a different direction than I thought it would. Loved the ending 💓 the line “Men shouldn’t have friends” killed me hah. I give it 4/5⭐️ #filmsky

Watched •Holy Motors•. Did not love this one. While I respect its vision and the craft that went into it, I had trouble paying attention and there were only two sections I really liked. Pinterest was already headed in a downward direction, but I think it’s about to get worse. My last Pinterest account was banned for no reason and when I reached out they refused to give me a reason. Now it’s flooded with ads and AI (well it’s been ad heavy for a long time) Time to let it go I think.

Husband and I finished •The Chair Company• and we really enjoyed it. I love surreal elements in almost anything so that was a big hit. Also fun to pick out the Ohio stuff. The son plays basketball for Dublin where we both went to high school. Genuinely excited for the next season. #thechaircompany
