Mit der „Frühstart-Rente“ will die Bundesregierung gezielt junge Menschen fördern und sie beim Einstieg in den Kapitalmarkt unterstützen. Ein Ansatz mit Potenzial, sagen Lena Eck und Dominic Afscharian – vor allem, wenn er mit Maßnahmen zur Stärkung der Finanzbildung verknüpft wird. So könnte die Regierung auf Ungleichheiten beim Zugang zu Kapitalanlagen reagieren.

I'm not sure people outside of academia fully grasp just how poorly prepared the current system of academic research is for the dual onslaught of AI slob and politically motivated spending. The ways through which researchers & journals build credibility will need a lot of rethinking. Tough stuff.
Ein gefährlicher Trend: Leute wie Eric Weinstein werden mit mächtiger Unterstützung, etwa durch den Milliardär Peter Thiel, als Wissenschafts-Stars bekanntgemacht - obwohl sie von echter Wissenschaft meilenweit entfernt sind. Wissenschaft verkommt zum Kampf um Quoten und Beliebtheit.
