TotalEnergies & CNOOC have decided to increase their financial commitments to #EACOP, as lenders to their own project. This reflects the collapse of external financing for the $5.6bn pipeline amid widespread rejection by banks & insurers due to environmental, human rights & climate risks

👻 Not all monsters wait for #Halloween.

TotalEnergies displaces families in Mozambique, grabs land in Uganda via EACOP, and destroys ecosystems across Africa, all while spending millions on greenwashing.

It's all tricks or tricks but no treats.

Reality of #ClimateCrisis for a grandma in Malawi - Gladys Khumbidzi first moved due to repeated floods. Then the water supply began drying up at her new home so she moved again. Now she is struggling to feed herself & her family as flooding one yr & drought the next means she cant grow enough food
