No, no, RJ. He didn't 'almost trip but manage to keep his frotting,' that's a different type of book.

1. It was not an accident.
2. It was not a staffer.
3. While the president may have dementia his racism is not due to dementia.
4. He isn’t sorry. He means every racist thought he shares.
5. His base agrees with him.
6. He will do it again.
7. No one in power will hold him accountable.

I feel like an engineer in a sci-fi movie, but instead of fixing a warp drive I'm essentially peeling a digital egg.

Worth it. Look how cute my Tamagotchi is now!! 🥰

I keep seeing posts saying this or that movie 'beat Melania at the box office' as if it's a great achievement and I am therefore happy to announce that the reel I made about my corn snake trying to eat my finger, which got a total of 30 views on Facebook, also beat Melania at the box office.

There is a grieving process to admitting people we put on pedestals are flawed. It's okay to be hurt, betrayed. And hey, denial is part of grief.

But that denial needs to be dealt with quietly and then overcome or you are pouring salt in the wounds of someone ALREADY in pain.

I agree with this. Separating the art from the artist is, in my opinion, only possible once they are no longer benefiting from said art.
Like, after their death.*

*I am not endorsing murder, much as it's an understandable reaction to some of the stuff we've all learned about some folks of late.
"can we separate the art from the artist," blargh, dunno, uhh, sigh. I get that some like exploring that, and maybe this is just from being asked that 2000 times, but it's lowkey a way of centering the abuser IMO. YMMV but overall i've come to regard that question in a very Admiral Acbkar way:
a man in a white shirt with a red face is saying it 's a trap .
Alt: Admiral Ackbar in Star Wars says it's a trap

Rich abusers are like video game bosses who, just when you think they are dead, change into a final form. Once you have airtight evidence of their crimes and make it public, you still have to defeat their comeback PR campaign.
