The For You feed is going to be down while I'm upgrading the CPU from AMD 7900 (12 core) to AMD 9950X3D (16 core).
This should increase how many users it can serve by ~50%-100%.
If all goes well it should be back up in an hour or two.

the For You feed is great. I agree that this is a win for the Bluesky ideals, but needing to find a third party feed is pretty bad for UX. I have friends who have stopped using Bluesky due to the Discover feed being bad (I've been mainly using Popular with Friends and Mutuals)

the success of the user-created For You feed while the official Discover feed flops is actually a pretty major win for Bluesky — it literally is the embodiment of their goal to decentralize feed generation and give users more control/autonomy

seems bad that the "rude" label is set to hide by default. personally I have all labels set to warn
my friend @mike10010100.com just got in an argument with a prominent blogger over a relatively minor disagreement and has now been mass-reported by his followers and account-labeled as “Rude,” so I just wanted to alert ppl of this and encourage them to disable hiding “Rude” posts.

Bluesky is rate limiting Discord's unfurler again, so Bluesky posts are unfortunately failing to embed in Discord. We reached out to the Bluesky team long ago to try to resolve this but didn't get a response.

Cloudflare Workers users: we have updated our rate limit system so you should no longer get incorrect 1015 rate limit errors while accessing Discord's API! I'm glad we've finally addressed this pain point to unlock reliable Discord integrations on Workers

we've added a Bypass Slowmode permission! I started working on this after seeing community admins ask for this for years - now you can make trusted members exempt from slowmode without giving them moderation powers! head to Server Settings to update your permissions.

I've added a new component to modals: file uploads! your bot can now finally ask users to upload files right in a modal, along with other components, streamlining upload flows. a file upload component can accept only one file or multiple (up to 10), and supports all file types.
