btw other tips if you need em: phone camera usually doesn't replicate visual stuff. check hallucinations through your phone. if you can't drown out auditory stuff with music or noise it's probably not real. find somebody you can check with. "does this sound valid?" "can you see/hear it?"
I've been having conversations about how to tell reality from psychosis tonight and honestly the weirdest most basic one I've got is that sometimes it helps to just point at the thing I'm not sure about (or in the direction if it's auditory) and squint one eye and say to myself "this is stupid"
