🧵I have to disagree with PM Carney here, the time to talk is drawing to a close, IMO. I think as much as we're playing for time, Trump is as well. I highly doubt that we'll see a successful renegotiation of CUSMA and then we're fucked. It's time to get creative. #cdnpoli

Is Canada Post doomed, a victim of tech changes and competition that made daily mail delivery irrelevant?

Or has the 174-year-old institution been strangled by government policies that limited its chance to compete?

What a great article on the challenges of social media in these unpredictable times. I routinely think about logging off, and then someone shares something completely useful or thoughtful and I stay.

I stay because *currently* there is still enough good and useful content to keep me sane ❤️

So few media calling it what it was - extrajudicial killing. Instead, it’s a “boat strike”. @reuters.com do better.

I miss that Internet too - it worked so much better than the manipulated and monetized to death version we live with now.
every week, hell every DAY I run into people who want to go back to the original internet with forums and websites and blogs and webrings and affiliate links, for a long time I thought it was just nostalgia but the more people talk about it, the more I think it really was better
