6mm Shattered Lances game at the club tonight. Somewhere near Cairo in 1077, a Fatimid army led by Badr al-Jamali attacks an invading Turkoman army under Atsiz ibn Uwaq. In a reversal of history, the Turks wear down the Arabs through a great deal of patient skirmishing.

Core Space in 15mm. Need to add a lot of clutter and scatter scenery, but I'll get most of that in resin or metal. Will add some Cyberpunk style decor too at some point. Anyway, we'll see how it plays tomorrow.

Kept the AI search thing on Chrome on tablet. Occasionally look at it to see if it's still anything other than useless. But no. It's just flat out worse than a 'normal' search. It's a mystery why search engines persist with them.

Ah, the sci-fi basing conundrum. You want to use the figures in many different environments, so how do you do the basing? It's 15mm so I can't be bothered with clear bases. Maybe plain grey, can pass for urban, spaceship and some moons/planets. But plain grey is a bit boring...

Gonna replace my 28mm sci-fi with 15mm instead. Still a bit unsure about scuffle games in 15mm, but we'll see how it goes. These here are for platoon-level skirmish. Very nice GZG figures.
