I never know how to feel about this definition of the “American people.” If you’re not a mom or a dad, is everything being said just not applicable to you? Do they not care about you, or are they intentionally excluding you? I genuinely don’t know.

Suppose to get labs drawn in the AM for a follow up appointment next Wed. Just realized my referral for that doc expired in Dec. Plus my PCP is no longer in the practice so I will probably need to see his replacement before I can get the referral.

@klm.bsky.social Lab work tomorrow to see if 125mg of iron every other day since late Dec. has raise my levels. We would really like to avoid having to infuse me again since the first one went so well.

Getting hip injection today. I was an extra hard IV stick and left a fair amount of my O- on the blanket and sheet on my bed.

Today I received a letter from a company to try and get me to sign up for their cremation services. Do they know something I don’t know? Is this the type of mail other 46 year olds get?

Me taking clothes out of the washing machine and finding my hand knit hat. Thankfully it looks OK. The manufacturer says the yarn is machine washable but recommends using a wash bag and washing on delicate. I washed it without a wash bag in a regular cycle with things like jeans.

@klm.bsky.social Friday’s labs thankfully show that my iron levels are in normal range! Was worried they still wouldn’t be good since I didn’t have the 2nd infusion due to my allergic reaction. I need to talk to my drs about this but it looks like the iron issues may be COVID related.
