The US is gearing up to literally starve Cuba into submission. It is absolutely criminal and obscene. And this to a country that everyone knows poses *zero* threat to the US.

The people of Cuba need our full solidarity in resisting this onslaught.

The US has declared Cuba an "unusual and extraordinary threat", authorising new sanctions and tightening its illegal blockade.

Trump is trying to starve Cuba into submission — and millions of people will suffer.

This is economic warfare, plain and simple. Hands off Cuba!

Norris says nationalising water isnt the answer because we'd end up footing the bill for the failure to invest in the past. But we are anyway! Who do you think is ultimately paying this £104bn Alex?

With nationalisation we'd cut out the parasitical companies creaming off the top

The Conservatives' greatest power used to be that it was a broad church that was voted for by anyone from centrists to the far-right. Their votes now being split between Labour and Reform would be great news if everyone on the left could feel similarly at home under the Greens.

I understand the dilemma of a sportsperson risking career success to boycott a competition. But imagine how the grandkids’ pride must deflate when asked, what country/year? Berlin 36? Even a small act of dissent can win back that compromise. Make them proud again. #2026fifaworldcup #2028olympics

Why would the Labour right block Andy Burnham when he represents the best chance for the party?

Because their entire project has been built around one goal, the destruction of the left, & they'll keep going even as they crash & burn (& those at the top will have very nice careers afterwards)
