They don't care that an entire generation of children in Gaza has missed school and critical development milestones (the ones who have survived so far) thanks to US tax dollars so I don't see why they would care about children imprisoned in for-profit concentration camps.
I am not being snarky. I need my colleagues who wrote on covid school lockdowns to engage with this. To be as loud as they have been about prior "learning loss." Hell, you can cite Tom & Mark's AERJ paper so you feel better that there's some econ somewhere in your argument.

He was a member of the Hmong community, which came to the area from Laos in the 1970s after siding with the US in the Vietnam War.
