Mick Jagger singing the theme song for Slow Horses makes me giggle a little every episode because it just so Mick Jagger. Can Mick Jagger be any more Mick Jagger?

Many of us have known it all along, but I hope it's become more and clear just how much MAGA and Republicans in power do not care about the president's immoral, illegal, and disgusting behaviors (both before and after his time in power). 1/

Do you agree, @strangeclay.bsky.social ?
For most of the original 1954 Godzilla, the monster serves as a horrific nuclear metaphor - atomic doom incarnate. However, for one scene at the end, you get to see him rather aimlessly walking around on the ocean floor, and it's always struck me as such a profoundly lonely moment.

I've scuttled our Thanksgiving plans for tomorrow to attend MMM's town hall in Keosaquwa. In lieu of anyone thanking me for doing my job, I'd much rather Senate Democrats fucking do theirs.

I think Trump cares about a few things: tariffs, praise, & tacky architecture. The rest he leaves to Miller and Vought. And Miller & Vought are full blown nazis. THEY are running things. Hence, our current situation. Trump is racist, yes, but he's too sleepy for all this.

For context: Keosauqua is in one of the reddest counties in #IA01. It's a pretty long drive from any large city and not part of any major Iowa media market (it's in the Ottumwa/Kirksville MO market).

I'm not able to attend. Hope someone records this.

They are always so excited about every for sale house on Selling Sunset but they all look exactly the same. Modern, spare, big windows, pool, giant closet room, view. I can't tell them apart. I don't know why I watch this show. I can't look away.

Elon Musk is out there constantly advertising his white supremacy, he's responsible for the deaths of countless, he regularly explodes rockets, and ended the careers of thousands of government workers and yet he's apparently still invited to the dinner table and given more power, more money, etc.

If I were still on the other site, I'd be replying to every single Rubio tweet calling him a monster for causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of children in the world. I know he'd likely not see or care, but I'd still do it, because what else can I do? His legacy will be murder & destruction.

I don't know why moral politicians are constantly discussing and decrying this. Every chance they get.
Today @TheNewYorker released our short documentary “Rovina’s Choice” online.

It traces the ongoing effects of the sudden shutdown of US foreign aid through the story of one mother in Kenya as she seeks to save her daughter from sickness and starvation. 🎥 1/ www.newyorker.com/culture/the-...
