Circles was an unbelievably good feature

Your best and most addicted users would have a private, compelling outlet while still staying on main
I really miss private circles. I want to be insecure and sad in a way that is public enough to actually feel like venting into the void but not so public as to invite scrutiny and be worrying to people who I do not want to worry. This was a very good twitter feature and I wish we had it back.

This economist ran the numbers and concluded that dating men ... doesn't really pencil out.

Prolly true unless they were in a circle of lies with their spouses

In which case, use the shaggy defence
If that dude and that lady at that Coldplay concert had just acted normal and not hid, there wouldn’t have been any issue.

The lesson in all of this is to play it cool

I mostly maintain a pedantic distinction between "should" and "need"

There are very many things we should do; there are many fewer things we need to do

Why do people only try dunk or threaten to kill stancil when he's right?
the original trilogy was really not political unless you’re seven
But… the OT was extremely political… Rebelling against an empire is political action. Vader and Leia have a whole ass political dialogue right in the beginning and Lucas has even said it was an allegory for Vietnam

Yeah no shortcuts only struggling
fashion micro aesthetics are mainly fake and only exist on wikis or to sell you cheap dropshipped garbage. there is really no shortcut to building up a sense of how you want to present yourself you just have to try a lot of stuff and figure out what you like

V important for existing landowners to feel the pain from rising house prices. NZ should have a painful LVT
The usual story about how Proposition 13 contributed to the California housing crisis—i.e. it made housing development a fiscal net loser—is junk. Rather, it contributed to the crisis by creating a generation of homeowners who simply didn't have to care about housing costs. My latest:
How Proposition 13 Broke California Housing Politics
