This is anecdotal, but I've recently noticed several small, plucky outlets that formed in the past few years get big stories/scoops — or at least get more attention for doing so.

These are mostly worker-owned, subscription-based publications.

Seems like a good sign for journalism if they do well.

I suspect that most of the world knows the difference between the corrupt and inhumane Trump regime and the American public.
