The lined shore crab (we believe that’s what this is?) creates foam and bubbles during low tide to keep its breathing apparatus moist. This is the first time we have personally witnesses this phenomenon! So cool!

This guy's a deflector and a charlatan.
The caretaker PM is running scared and resorting to more smears because he knows the game is up.

Labour is sinking in Gorton and Denton and it’s left to the Greens to challenge the far right threat of Reform.

Island of strangers? No. An Island of hope and unity.
Politics UK: ‘NEW: Keir Starmer will attack the Greens and Reform at the Munich Security Conference tomorrow for being "soft on Russia and weak on NATO"

"[They are] determined to sacrifice the longstanding relationships that we want and need to build, on the altar of their ideology"1/

This idea is pretty obviously unworkable but I wish we could dream big like this! The question to ask should be how can we change the state to make a project like this feasible?
Absolutely tremendous work here, no notes.

(Apart from to say that this proposal is by the actual president of RIBA)

The reform letter breaking the law around elections is clearly written by someone a long way away because the buses are something labour (Burnham) can be very proud of.

This is right. A bit of leadership and courage of conviction rather than pandering and pivoting to please people who ultimately end up hating you for cowardice
There's no reason to accept this as normal, though. Much of Starmer and Labour's unpopularity is not misfortune but his own doing. Mandelson was a choice. Consistently pursuing policy positions designed to appeal to people who will not vote for you - and alienating core supporters - is a choice.
Starmer's reported condition - incredibly unpopular, shorn of authority, probably un-reelectable and yet will stagger on for want of an alternative - is just the new normal of how Britain is governed. It was also true for two-thirds of May's premiership, half of Johnson's and all of Sunak's.

Election bar charts from the greens!
Their shocking revelations would result in:
Labour 29.8
Reform 27.8
Greens 24.2

Labour hold

This is the beginning of a long painful end for Starmer.

So we’re saying X servers are hosting and making available somewhere in the region of 23,000 images that probably meet the legal threshold for CSAM, presumably not only from servers in the US, and no legally responsible person has been arrested yet?
In our conservative estimate, 41 percent of Grok’s images — or 1.8 million — were sexualized depictions of women. Separately, CCDH analyzed how many were sexualized images across genders and ages. Their findings: an estimated 3 million images, including more than 23,000 of children.

What you people want is a map of all towns w>100k inhabitants in Sweden. Nothing north of Uppsala. The extra circle in Stockholm is just Sollentuna which really isn't an independent town.

The UK, where the day after a decision to take half a million children out of poverty, the media & political world has been full of sneering at those same children & their families, labelling them as ‘Benefits Street’, while the same people are moaning about a tax on £2m mansions. Shameful stuff.
