only those who will say, “Caesar is Lord”
can attend.

The question isn't "what side would Jesus pick?" The real question is, "Will you side with Jesus?" Jesus already has a position, a default. He's not trying to make a third way between L and R. Jesus is the established side of love and everything else must decide if they will stand with him.

2026: Fascism persists, and I have to pay rent.
January 19, 2026 at 12:32 AM
Well fuck me. I fell for an apparent scam that made our rent not get paid. So now I have to scramble to come up with rent in the next two days. I am so tired of money always being a monkey on my back. We just need a break.

If little boys are made of snips and snails and puppy dog tails, and little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice, our resident expert has informed us that little nonbinaries are made of pineapple, cats, and demon rats.

I got to talk with @aaronjsmith.net and Mat about the Spirituality of Fatherhood, what it means to call God Father, and the way that our experiences as fathers transformed our understanding of God, grace, and our callings as fathers. ⚓

I don't want to read the continued political commentary and socio breakdown of the murder of Rene Good. I want the terror to stop.

For those wondering why more churches do not serve the poor...my churches insurance was dropped because there was evidence we let people sleep on our steps and we have a free fridge outside.

We are searching for someone to pick us up by Sunday or we cannot have service.

If you can forgive me, I think I can forgive the people who hurt me too.
Don't leave me out here with all the shit that makes me do more bad shit.
Help me get out of here.
But you can make this place right.
You've always been strong and cool enough.
I hope so, anyway.

The Lord's Prayer, in the casual register:

Hey Dad, way up there.
Your name means a lot.
I hope you're here soon, and what you want happens, here and everywhere.
I need some food today, like every day.
I'm sorry for the bad shit I've done.

On this episode, two good friends and I had a conversation about what it means to be a father and how to make sense of the image of God as father. I hope you'll come listen. #wat

Sometimes, editing poetry is just putting a comma in, taking it back out, and then wondering what the hell you’re trying to say in the first place.

The reason for the second ammendment that people so dearly love is to stop domestic terrorism such as we are bearing witness to today. Things must change, and violence begets vilolence. May the truth bring justice.
