Everyone, thank you so much for your warm wishes, paws in, and thoughts for Eddie. ❤️

Happy to say he has come back from the vet, healthy and happy, although he’ll need to take his medicines for the next 2 weeks.

This Iranian man is an absolute angel.

He feeds street dogs every day and gives them so much love.

I wish Iran weren’t cut off from the global finance system, I would send him money every day.

I got permission to share this, and I'm extremely grateful for that.

The Onion got this letter from one of our subscribers in Alaska. She works with dementia patients and decided to leave a copy in the car for each one.

This email made my year. Read it and you'll see what I mean. People are good.

Let's reframe our entire conversation on what makes a community safe.

It's not the visible presence of enforcement, but the tangible absence of poverty.

The clearest path to get there is through commitments to affordable housing and high-quality public education for everyone.

hey don't forget to turn off biometric access to your phone and if you did happen to forget, in an emergency, pressing the power button 5 times on your iphone will lock it & it can't be unlocked again without the passcode even if you were silly & left face ID on 🙂
