"Content" exists to fill the void of a platform so that people are incentivized to visit it and stay there, giving advertisers eyeballs.
Art, writing, skits, photography, interior decor, film, etc are not "content" just by existing on such a platform. They would exist without it, more quietly.

I was recently asked to talk about being a “content creator” and I had to flat out say I am not a content creator
To reframe what I do as an artist to being a content creator is something the internet has been pushing for a while and I just refuse to give into it or allow my life to become that
