was looking through an online store with my mom, and said "I'm not picky, I just don't like any of them" and she's like "that's picky" and I think I might have to concede. I just feel like 'picky' means small complaints, and I'm seeing big problems. But really maybe that's only "nitpicky"

possibly got yelled at by a driver for "riding in the middle of the road", can't tell cause i was passing a cyclist going the other way and we were both ~1m from the curbs because the asphalt was shitty

finally cleaned my bike chain and it was just comically greasy. like, it's not actually black, it just looked that way because of the layer of grime. no risk of rust or under lubrication but sheesh I have probably saved 20g of weight by taking out all the small trees living on it

I think my most housepet-coded trait is that I hate the vacuum cleaner. I don't want to be in the same house and definitely not the same room, and if I wasn't so repressed I'd probably yell at it

I mostly like my G502 hero mouse, but one persistent thing it does is pick up little hairs in the socket the sensor is in, and then have fucked up tracking. obviously it's my own fault for shedding hairs

took the food test at www.idrlabs.com/food-choice/..., turns out I like food. my only pass was chocolate, and they happened to have world's bougiest chocolate cake. I treated it entirely as "good to eat" no ethical aspect

I wish they were just a little less taken seriously, cause I desperately want to be like *pops open purse* "I think so, what do you need it for?"
I wrote about that at the time: "There’s no pretence of “reasonable concerns” here, no desire to protect anyone from anything. It’s that to these women, being visibly and vocally hateful towards a minority is like a trip to the garden centre: a fun thing to do at the weekend; a jolly good day out."

stick figure xor 3d model to figure out poses, then final lines, colour, shadows. more optimized for getting it finished than for doing the best I could. If I'm on paper there's also a very light sketch to plan page usage, but I've never photographed one
