I think I’m going shopping tomorrow for the other half of necessities and even with coupons there’s a good chance I’ll be effectively broke until the end of the month, at which point I may not get SNAP again. Ever? Let’s ask the democrats…

Got 2 months of canned things and other long-term foodstuffs that keeps me alive if I go completely broke and the government goes even further underwater. Longer if I stretch things. I’ve done this for winter emergency situations but this shit is a horrible case. The administration can fuck off.

It’s the first! Of November! After all my incomes, and then taking care of the monthly rent and bills, some bread and a pound of onions, and the whomping $0.00 of SNAP, I have $14.68 for the rest of the month. I’m rich!

WOW: The White House says the president's MAIN PRIORITY is his BALLROOM. SNAP is ending. Subsidies for health care are gong to double and in some instances quadruple plan premiums. The government is shut down. The cost of living is through the roof. And his priority is his ballroom.

In about 6 hours I’ll be at a hospital getting vaccines against flu and COVID. Partly because I kind of like injections, but mostly because it’ll become more likely to die from being hit by a truck again than from the flu or COVID.

THIS HAS BEEN MY POINT FOR TEN FRICKEN YEARS!!!! It’s not that people are stupid (although we all are in different and exciting ways), it’s that they’re desperate and hungry for the power and wealth they probably will never happen.

From about 1:45 here, the Rev says he heard the ICE agents say that they didn’t remember why they were doing the attacks, and describes them as being disorganized and demotivated… hm.

Today in Portland, a fed shooting pepper balls from the roof of the ICE facility was so eager to aim for people’s heads, that after shooting one photographer in the head and another in the upper arm, they accidentally shot a DHS agent in the head. This photo shows the moment of impact;
