Again, fascinating to compare and contrast British Ireland with French Algeria.
There was a religious problem because Ireland was mostly Catholic. Irish *freeholders* could vote in elections but no Catholic could be an MP until 1829.

The Israel occupation of the WB and Gaza is best compared to how the French controlled Algeria back in the day.
This is a thing that I have had a lot of trouble explaining to people; comparisons of Israel/Palestine to Puerto Rico or the Native American reservations implies a massive improvement over the status quo.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani says pro-Palestine activist Mahmoud Khalil ‘deserves to stay’ in New York City.

Last week a federal appeals court reversed a lower court ruling that freed Khalil from immigration detention, reopening the chance that he could be deported, possibly to Algeria.

I appreciate those out there protesting at great risk to their lives however i think the nation needs to grind this economy to a dead stop.
It's something everyone can do safely. No spending on ANYTHING but absolute necessities.
I understand some shut ins can not do this but very many of us can.

Cette explication est donnée en commentaire de la vidéo..
