It should be obvious that the EU cannot share personal data with countries which does not guarantee due process to visiting EU citizens and which cannot be trusted to limit the use of the data to immigration enforcement.
If the US decides to stop visa-free entry, we should do the same.

Wenig konkrete Berichterstattung zu den Epstein-Files in deutschen Medien. Ich gehe davon aus, dass Teams fähiger Investigativjournalisten den Aktenberg gerade systematisch aufarbeiten und die Berichterstattung in den kommenden Tagen noch kommt. Ich hoffe es zumindest.

Bin ich eigentlich die Einzige die befürchtet, dass inzwischen jeder moralische und rechtliche Kompass soweit verschoben ist, dass die Inhalte der Epstein-Akten völlig egal sind.

Wären die USA eine funktionierende Demokratie, müsste der Tod von Pretti eine Zäsur darstellen. Der Fall ist viel zu gut dokumentiert, als dass die Desinformation der Admin noch verfangen könnte. Und dass man Waffenbesitz als Rechtfertigung anbringt, ist ein übles Eigentor der Reps. Aber eben... 🤷♂️

The term “law enforcement” should not be used by media, except perhaps in quotations. It has sadly become an Orwellian term that is used to magically sanctify violence. Language matters. Be specific. Describe individuals with names and ranks. Say exactly what they did. Don’t repeat fascist hocum.
