The problem for democracy is that it will not survive three more years of such a system. We cannot hold free and fair elections if judges blindly accept the word of Pam Bondi and Kash Patel’s minions. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/two-...
Two cases and the grease that breaks democracy
The obvious lesson many are drawing is that ordinary citizens are more reliable protectors of democracy than judges in black robes.

Pretty close to 100% of all billionaires got that money by exploiting the labor and talent of other people, and by cheating and grifting. There are a few exceptions (talented artists), but for the most part, billionaires are criminals.

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

I've never seen the moon
gaze at you as I do—
while always watching
she looks on everyone

I've never known rain
to fall just for you,
though it often pours
it's to the rivers it flows

Yet I
have lit the night
just to find your eyes

And I have cried rivers
longing for your arms.

The CRA (founded by Russ Vought) supports forcing a talking filibuster: “If the Republican majority can outlast the Democrat minority speeches (which could take weeks)… then a final vote on the SAVE Act would take place at a simple majority threshold of 51 votes…”

Indoor Concentration Camps

Am I being hyperbolic?

Are these purchases by ICE and DHS to buy buildings to warehouse immigrants better called by any other name?

If you agree, pls post those 3 words in the comments of any article you read in the future about these.

For 50 years, the median wage of hourly workers stagnated or declined while the stock market and CEO pay skyrocketed.

Is it any wonder why so many feel abandoned by the system? People lose faith, and a demagogue fills the void.

This is why we must fix the system. AOC is right.
AOC: "Extreme level of wealth inequality leads to social instability and drives authoritarianism, right-wing populism, and really dangerous domestic internal politics. That is a direct outcome of the failure of democracies over decades to deliver."
