Earth will warm 1.5 degrees Celsius above preindustrial levels in just two years, new data shows. Irreversible tipping points — like the melting of Arctic ice sheets or the collapse of coral reefs — are closer at hand than previously believed.

Under Trudeau, we learned:

1. There is no business case for pipelines in Canada. US-backed industry wants Cdn. taxpayers to bail them out.

2. Governments can't buy pipelines and be seen as climate leaders.

Let's make wise choices.

OK, this is wild.

In September 2023, geophysicists across the world started monitoring a very odd signal coming from the ground under them.

It was picked up in the Arctic. And Antarctica. It was detected everywhere, every 90 seconds, as regular as a metronome, for *nine days*.

What the HELL?

This is a big deal! Good for @sophiamathur.bsky.social & other youth for taking Ontario to court arguing that weakening its climate target leads to dangerously high greenhouse gas emissions that discriminate against young people by forcing them to bear the brunt of future climate impacts.
Supreme Court of Canada to decide today whether to hear youth-led climate case
The lawsuit could clarify whether governments are constitutionally required to tackle planet-warming emissions

Good thing it's 120 light years away! We certainly don't deserve to occupy another planet given our track record here.
There are only two responses to this:

1) Tell them BEWARE and to wait 4-8 years to make contact with us

OR

2) PLEASE COME SAVE US NOW!!!
