I remember reading Carrie by Stephen King, with Sissy Spacek covered in blood on the cover, at the lunch room table, when I was in the seventh grade. I was really into horror books for the longest time. Then drifted over to historical fiction. I'm more into cozy mystery books now.
The Exorcist. Been battling demons and religious freaks ever since. Was also my first R-rated movie (yes, of course I was underage, weren't you?) and afterward I had to walk home by myself from the beginning of my neighbor at 11 PM. I'll never forget that walk.
