Finished THE BOAT IN THE EVENING, and it's great! A book that makes you slow down and savour its sights, scents, and silences. More elusive and fragmentary than THE ICE PALACE and THE BIRDS, but infused with the same hypnotic, otherworldly feel. Thank you @andrewmale.bsky.social for recommending it.

It's been a very quiet week.
As a small business owner that’s a bit scary heading into my busy season.

So, if you're looking for unique #Christmas gifts, I make prints, homewares, cards & accessories inspired by midcentury design, music & architecture.

There will be a player of the match because such things must be, but really it was all of them. Great team performance. Backed each other to the end. Every time RM tried something they had three or four of us to deal with, it was beautiful to see.

Took myself out of #Whamageddon already today thanks to MTV having a dedicated Christmas channel, which seems a good time to remind you that all the proceeds from Last Christmas go to charity and it's a banger so listen to it all you want. Winter is miserable enough, why deny yourself?

Big accounts On Here that get loads of traction and shared thousands of times but don't use ALT text in their images. Why?

It's such an easy thing to do that makes social media more usable for more people. Takes no time at all.

Truly cool, suave and debonair people use alt text every time!
