Just in case my work-related posts may be misunderstood: I am not living this moment as if it were business-as-usual. It’s everything but, and all efforts and energy go into organising resistance. What are the tools at my disposal? #philsci #savedemocracy

A truly fantastic piece Ramon, I enjoyed the exchange enormously and argued back for the need to rescue intelligence from anti-human AI, it’s too important a notion to both human and non-human interactions with the world - see this rejoinder hdsr.mitpress.mit.edu/pub/c5hq3by1.... #philsci

How to conceptualise research environments for transdisciplinary work? How do researchers negotiate such spaces, and with which implications for knowledge produced? @rosetrappes.bsky.social and I answered by proposing the idea of "multiplex research environments"! See: rdcu.be/eN8ie #philsci

Loved it of course, and so grateful you took the time to write this Shannon! You’ll see my response in my rejoinder also online now: hdsr.mitpress.mit.edu/pub/c5hq3by1...

So glad you sent us your wonderful proposal, and very much looking forward to hosting you in Munich Marianne!

Me too Dmitry, thank you!

Great thanks Manlio - and good thing i posted then! This teaching term is very intense so I lose track of advertising such things to great colleagues as I should 😅

The location is unparalleled at the just renovated Botanical Gardens with their illustrious history.. I look forward to this and am so thankful to colleagues from the library of the University of Padova for organising all this!

These are exciting and innovative activities that could model similar others elsewhere, but like all new things, we need a bit of support to make them happen… for those who offer 50-100 euros, we have an amazing set of T-shirts and sweaters to give away as a thank you 🙏

What do we do with the money? In Bologna, we work with civil society & public institutions to ensure the Digital Twin is responsive to citizen needs; in Modena, we are launching a project on citizen experiences of local green spaces, involving story-telling about fireflies & cicadas (more soon!!)

Last week left to contribute the cost of a coffee (or a meal?) to our Pianeta Association / Public Science Lab crowdfunding campaign - a *unique* effort to leverage research in science studies to spearhead concrete participative projects on urban environments! 🌍
