Hidden consultants and hurried payments: Records reveal details of DeSantis' campaign against abortion and marijuana amendments

RIP to a legend.

This performance from The Dick Cavett Show absolutely rips.

The pocket is obscenely deep + they are *going for it* with reckless abandon. The live audience for shows like this have always been like 10% fans + 90% there to see the host so for the most part just sitting there...

While I think it’s corny to use Orson Welles’ voice for AI stuff I could see a world where he’d sold his voice rights away after death to buy a month of fancy dinners in Madrid and gone like “I’m told I’m to be the voice these dreadful computers following my untimely demise”

Rolling the dice with Khris might have high upside but very low floor of another first round exit, which could lead to the end of this era. I assume that fear is what’s driving all these rumors

Horst’s trade deadline fever I assume is because Khris might not be the tough midrange bucket getter we need anymore. He’s better than Beal and less combustible than Jimmy. Cheaper too. But I share all your other concerns

Oh, the Dunked On mock deadline had the Bucks getting Ingram. I assume you hate it? I can see the case, especially as a buy low-ish bucket getter but I dread the health concerns

Engineer a Dame for Fox swap?

Clearly better than Beal, lesser fit but lower risk than Butler but maybe the best big swing?

Thoughts on Zach Lavine? (truth be told, I can’t believe I’m asking that seriously but I am.)

Thank you!

Tales From The Keane Compound #677

Among the most entertainingly frightening books I’ve read, especially as much of it reads as a realistic account of one branch of the timeline begun in late seventies/early 80s NYC

Happy birthday from a longtime fan!
