Accidentally left the kitchen door open. Two minutes later the kitten brings me the washing up sponge up to my office...

I wrote a piece for the Guardian games newsletter this week on my PhD research into preserving play experiences, and why I think that the most archaeological games are those that that actually make you *think* like one 🏺

I am craving a Hull pattie... Is there anywhere in York that can do me a pattie...

TBF, I guess there isn't much call for frozen custard ice cream at breakfast time.

I needed a cable for my camera and wanted a sweet treat for the last day on my leave.

The specialist camera shop didn't have the cable. My favourite crumble place was shut.

Ended up eating a McFlurry whilst browsing Amazon... Shop local folks.

Frank's biggest challenge is to figure out how to get the players to turn up against mid-table opposition.

We've consistently been half-assed in these sorts of games for as long as I can remember #COYS

Commentator: "There has to be a response by Spurs in this 2nd half".

Narrator: "There was never a response by Spurs".

CODHEADS!!!

Looking forward to our hearty and filling casserole this week, courtesy of the Tesco click and collect.

Teabag for scale.

Now waiting for an email, that according to forums never comes, that will presumably include a link that will requires her to sign in.
Last night Amazon locked my wife's account. She has instantly lost everything on our Alexa's, her kindle, her Audible etc. Looking like it has all been lost.

Now in a Kafke-esque nightmare of Amazon asking her to sign whilst also locking her from doing so.

Frank has shown here what he can do when he has the tools. We need to strengthen with quality depth though, will only take 1-2 injuries to scupper this #COYS

Brilliant first half. Frank has got the balance spot on again. We can get a lot of change out of their keeper.

2nd half will be hard. Fatigue and subs might undo us #COYS

That was a clear foul on Kudos by Trafford? #COYS

Our bench is so light... #coys

Somehow, remarkedly, with my last pay cheque my student loan has been paid off!

Overpaid in fact...

This transfer window has been a shambles. Again. #COYS #LevyOut

So @egu.eu General Assembly in Vienna one week, Eurovision in Vienna the week after. Logistical nightmare.

Tempted to book my hotel for #EGU26 now.

And finally: the Easter egg. We do have a tradition of unpronounceable acronyms in science, so I had to slip this into the paper. Please click on the acronym in the abstract of our paper. 🧵🛑
