i just got a traveler back in september but of course now seeing the wonderland222 i am immediately enthralled by it (why are planner people afflicted by this curse???)

excited to announce that after about four months using the undated a5 wonderland222 (which i love, btw) i will, in fact, be augmenting my planner ecosystem with a hobonichi weeks in a traveler's notebook combo to better separate my work and personal life
from loose notebooks (2009-2011) to moleskine (2011-2016) to bullet journaling (2016-2018) to hobonichis (2019-2023) to leuchtturm/travelers company (2024-2025) im excited to announce that i will be getting a NEW ONE.... :)

original/older tomoe river paper notebook: any outdated hobonichi day-free/plain grid or wonderland222 though they also have a newer batch of notebooks that, while isn't TRP, still works well with fountain pen inks

others: midori md, maruman, apica, tsubame note, life noble.

nebula doesn't necessarily have a planner but they do have some nice, minimalist looking notebooks

so does iroful

if the grid spacing on the hobo bothers you, have you tried the likes of sterling ink, wonderland222, taroko.chapters (instagram), midori md, nakabayashi yu-sari, kokuyo?
So I know I'm not a hobonichi fan (grid spacing is too small), i like stalogy and maruman mnemosyne paper.

I find some of the French and German stationery a bit heavy.

Does Nebula do a planner? Or Itoful? Iroful is my fave paper lately.

sterling ink off the top of my head; they come in different sizes. wonderland222 uses, i believe, some of the older tomoe river paper before the manufacturer was bought by sanzen but i think that only applies to their older notebooks. midori doesn't have a weeks-size, but still a good option.

TN's scratch my aesthetic itch, but I can't stand how hard it is for them to lay flat. I am also a Tomoe River Paper person, so I have been using Wonderland222 planners for the last 2 yrs and love them!

I’m taking the plunge and making the switch from a Passion Planner to a Wonderland222 All-In-One Planner for 2026.
What are some of your favourite planner spread ideas for W222?

I like the thin Japanese paper planners (around 52gsm). For 2026 wonderland222, Sterling Inc & Just Scribbles are using a hopefully better 52gsm paper than Hobonichi. They come in a wide variety of formats, w222 is who I’ve gone with & it looks like they may have what you need 💜

clairefontaine, midori, fabiano, maruman, kokuyo are basically my go-to, brand-wise. harder but slightly up there and maybe with several issues would be any notebook with the old tomoe river paper (i only know wonderland222 selling those)

I think I prefer vertical weekly because I like it for logging. I’d prefer Monday start, but I could probably deal with Sunday start.

I got the Wonderland222 because it has the unnumbered pages in the back for journaling, but I’m feeling like I might not mind going back to 1 page a day…

Hello, stationery friends. For those of you using weekly planners, what are you going to use next year? I am currently using a Wonderland222 planner notebook but I don't think I'll continue with it next year, for various reasons.

I love my Wonderland222 but I’ve just realised I can draw up a Moleskine Cahier as a weekly planner and I really really like the idea. No regrets buying the W222, but man, that cahier is calling!

6 months in one book, 2 books for a year. (thread…)

Yu-Sari, Midori, Maruman Mnemosyne, Kokuyo, Yamamoto paper, etc.

Notebook makers like Musubi (different types of paper), Odyssey, Wonderland222, Nanami Paper, Galen Leather, and many others.

Good luck on finding the trifecta (pen - ink - paper) that works for you! Happy writing.

Got all my tasks done so now I get to sit down with my Wonderland222 and just vibe for the rest of the day.

I would rather spend that money on a really nice Wonderland222 or Papertess instead is what I'm saying.

Wonderland222, the Japanese-inspired hybrid BuJo of my dreams is here, and we are getting along famously! Paper planners + text files suit me much better than to do apps. Links below.

Added colour-coded sticky flags to my Wonderland222 planner for easy access to key pages. I love how this book is a good mélange of Bullet Journal and Hobinichi-style planning.

Today is planning day when I get to reflect on the past year + begin setting up my 2025 journal + calendar. I’m entering #BulletJournal year 4 and trying out the #Wonderland222 calendar. Where are my fellow journalers and stationery lovers? What are your favorite tools?
