I'm partly fascinated by that Vildhjarta record, though.There are 4 songs on thst album that are the exact same length (3:48), and I bet if you played them back to back you wouldn't know when one ended and the other started.

Again, not usually a djent person, but this sounds like getting cast down into a mechanical Hell. Like some sort of cybernetic Bosch soundscape. Recommended if you like: Meshuggah, Vildhjarta, Humanity's Last Breath, Disembodied Tyrant.

I'm guilty of accusing people of ascribing musicality to stuff that just rubs me the wrong way. For all the music I listened to this year, I got hung up on Crippling Alcoholism and Vildhjarta the most. "What are people hearing that I'm not?" and I'm convinced they don't actually have an answer.
