I don't believe it should be taken that way. Its "please dont expect it because there wont be any" they've added in all sorts of things that could've been DLC easily, its all too common for games nowdays to release uncomplete and charge you more for dlc. Its basically saying "heres the entire game"

it looks silly and is bad overall
the arms look weird
add proper hands sometime, dont just make 100 drawings all uncomplete with no hands

I think it's an uncomplete plotline for sure because YEAH, goddamn, it's HEAVY and dark and should be impactful. And it's a great way of fleshing out Karlach's character development.
I'm certainly unable to ignore it, just means we gotta finish it to our own liking.
