I pulled basically my entire digital life off of google at the beginning of the year! Gmail -> Startmail, Drive->Filen, Chrome->Hardened Firefox (was already doing this one), and then moved a bunch of phone utilities to FLOSS options from FDroid and Github (Cal, File Browser, Notes app, etc).

Larry Page and Sergey Brin: avoid Google products. Search with DUCKDUCKGO or STARTPAGE. Stop using Gmail. Startmail is a great alternative and tons of privacy stuff too.

Thank you. I feel that GMail should stay GMail and Gemini should stay out of users' and businesses' emails. But I'm happy that I use StartMail.

yeah i checked out fastmail and it seemed alright! i’ve been considering startmail for a while, also have mixed feelings on Mozilla but i’m keeping an eye out on thundermail which should be launching sometime soon
