(sigh) I cannot help that Bluesky is better than X... I'm not sure if Bluesky serves ads or not, but I won't pay $33 for Premium+, a massive jump from $16/month last year... I just have not been in social media for a while.

Quick project update:
I'm heading off for a month in Europe in a few days, so no new updates until Mid August.

Plenty more to come after.

Yikes... I wonder if @startmail.bsky.social will have Artificial Intelligence at some point in the future... I already have @kagi.com Assistant and it's been helping me out with questions in the CompTIA CySA+ practice exam. Honestly, services need to be kept separate.

There's a lie that's often repeated by tech companies and authoritarian dictatorships across the world: "you have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide." Everyone has a right to privacy, so don't let tech companies shift the blame. Make no mistake: they're guilty, not you.

If you are placing an order on your computer through #UberEats, do not allow location services because it's going to change your street address and I did not verify that. I suspect Uber Eats got the wrong location based on the public IP address and it's very inaccurate.

Sorry BBC - why are you stating an economic opinion as fact?

"Higher pay and benefits drives government borrowing higher"

No. Neoliberal greed, lack of investment, and giving national assets to private wealth.

Shameful gaslighting from the BBC.

Why do I get the feeling that Apple can do whatever the heck they want? Apple and Big Tech could care less about EU's Digital Markets Act.

But know what? I support Tuta and I support EU. I even support StartMail as well even though I live in the US.
Our colleagues at @tutaprivacy.bsky.social have filed a lawsuit against Apple for refusing to allow Apple users to set Tuta Mail as their default on iOS, which they claim that this violates the Digital Markets Act. Read more here...👇 👇
