there is a LOT more bipartisan support for Ukraine/opposition to russia than there Pаlestine support/opposition to Іsrael. So I do not think that it's politically feasible to sell weapons to russia.
I do in fact think Trump wants "peace," meaning "fighting stops." He just doesn't care who wins.
