No, it’s not just ONLY. Far from only. Though I really would like health insurance to cover the cosmetic needs, too (and also breast reductions as needed, etc).
But just because it seems to be a normal variation doesn’t mean it doesn’t need functional care. Deviated septums are normal, too.

My fake lip ring is a clip-on; when it was new, it caused me pain, but when you wear it enough times for a while, the pain disappears.
