#saehrimnir
While the Greek gods eat ambrosia and drink nectar, the Norse gods prefer a heartier meal. Every night the giant boar Sæhrímnir is slaughtered for food, and every morning he is reborn. Also, mead instead of milk pours from the udders of the great goat Heiðrún.

So!

He sees them as meeting again in the Great Hall of Valhalla to feast on endless meat of the magical boar Sæhrímnir, who is reborn every day, while drinking the mead that flows continuously from the udders of the magical goat Heiðrún

Sounds like a plan to me!!

Keystone Kop Kash would likely screw up something as simple as drinking mead in Valhalla. FFS, Epstein Files are sitting on Bondi’s desk and he has screwed up walking over there, getting them, and releasing them to We the People. “You killed the boar Saehrimnir for real, Patel! No more roast pork!”

Sæhrímnir is the creature killed and eaten every night by the Æsir and einherjar in Valhalla. It could be a goat, or a boar, or a sea beast; or where the idea of Thor's regenerating goats came from. When I think of it now I think of the evil whales/ illhveli. abookofcreatures.com/category/ill...

the beast is brought back to life again to provide sustenance for the following day. Sæhrímnir is attested in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional material, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson.

I slow-roasted a nice free-range Norwegian pork butt at 105C overnight so I have a vat of pulled pork now. House smells like porky heaven.

I am about to return to afk activities for a while, and feast on Sæhrímnir.

Norse myth is about reusable food: Thor has two goats who can be killed but who rejuvenate each night if their bones are not broken, while Valhalla features Sæhrímnir, killed for meat each day but rejuvenated each night. #FolkyFriday
