never use routenote. my release got denied for incredibly vague reasons, and when i tried to email them about it they hit me with: "At this time, we are unable to accept further releases from your account." and tells me to go to other platforms

With how Bandcamp works people can’t upload to the official profile an an artist, band, or label without their login credentials which distributors like RouteNote bypass entirely for streaming services

I mean I have NEVER had a hard disk that worked longer than 15 years, NEVER. if that is your cycle of life as an artist, it is ok. you can also pray to routenote or sth they will continue your account as a 'legacy account' harhar I mean so delusional.
have they EVER considered that NOBODY is gonna conserve their fucking hard disks when THEY are--gone? how do independent musical artists make sure their music does not vanish completely with their own biological death? instruct their family?? they will kick the old computers onto the garbage bin.
