However, wealthy melee fighters will often have what's basically plate armor made of layers of steelsilk, sometimes further enchanted with magic to give it certain elemental resistances. This is because they're up close and personal with monsters, so they *need* the extra protection. (2/4)

C'est pas intuitif, on est trop conditionnés par la catégorisation en 2 extrêmes, soit le monstre fou aux pulsions animales, soit l'amoureux irrépressible. Et puis c'est vertigineux de se dire que ça pourrait être ton oncle, ton père, ton voisin, ton ami, toi..Forcément on développe des résistances.

Exactly what I've been seeing and thinking. One of my many resistances to self pub is "no repubs" combined with the inevitable "how many copies did you sell."
So...put it out there yourself, pay marketers for SEO & reach, wind up putting it on Amazon for $1-5 & somehow pray it goes viral. Right.

the hardest fight in the remake for me was a new sidequest with a bunch of monsters that inflicted confuse before i got a turn and i didnt feel like getting resistances for it so i finally just spammed s crafts

Pokémon Fun fact: ICE type pokemon are one of the weakest types defensively! They are weak to FIGHTING, FIRE, ROCK, and STEEL, and have no resistances besides ICE itself!

he is immune to elements...but are you using elemental phials? you could use impact phials and its just flat damage, no elemental resistances against that, but maybe thats not enough damage if its G rank Valstrax?
