Yeah, I get that. Already there's the whole headache of the Wiki having to conform to that, and we have an impartiality issue at the Reception section of Recoll.

Why does #recoll take so long to launch on #ubuntu? It literally takes over 30 minutes for the UI to finally load. 9/10 times when I go to launch recoll I forgot what I even wanted to search for because it takes so damn long for the program to launch. I think it's because it's reading/ loading […]

Ich nutze auch ocrmypdf und zur Stichwortsuche die 'erweiterte Suche' im Adobe Reader. Seit kurzem nutze ich zur Stichwortsuche auch Recoll. Das braucht aber ein bisserl Einarbeitungszeit. Das sucht dafür dann aber in allen Textdateien, pdf, doch, docx, txt, Emails,...

As far as I understand it that wouldn't be enough input for it to be able to form sentences. Digitizing, indexing and searching your own writing might be be better?

Recoll is one good text search tool if you already have them as text on the computer
