I resisted the despair of my relentlessly unending heating problems and finished writing my #PsychologyToday post on Joy in Despair. Guess it was easy to write since I'm living it right now. 👀 I await approval or edit request.

Method 1 - Weirdly like dating: Filter on psychologytoday, grow, Rula, etc. by your insurance, state, specialty/ modality. If any profiles resonate, message them for a free consult. Ask them how they would work with you on XYZ. Proceed with full sessions if you like their answer

Being “the reasonable one” is socially rewarded, but it can hide chronic emotional labor and self-silencing. Learning to be less “reasonable” can be an important step toward healthier boundaries and mental well-being, writes Karen Stollznow. www-psychologytoday-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.psyc...
The Burden of Being 'The Reasonable One'
Always being "the reasonable one" may keep the peace, but it can quietly undermine our mental health and well-being.
