God, this is a really gorgeous microjam piece. It really channels the impressionistic, apocalyptic energy of something like Propylene, but with a lot of new and distinctive elements - the sense of predation, the specific flavor of the end of the world, and the ending above all. Stunning

occasionally i do spend a little time ruminating on the background elements of propylene & asking myself what a story more explicitly about those things would look like. but i will never actually write it

watched excalibur (1981) last night and besides that i had an excellent time in general, i particularly enjoyed the description of The Dragon as a sort of unknowable but fickle and fearsome entity present in all things. like damn merlin would probably fuck with propylene

Generally roofs aren’t painted white, they have a white plastic material - tpo: thermoplastic - attached to the roof. In this case, the roof already had black material attached - epdm: Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer. It was only a few years old, so no way we’re replacing.

god this is fantastic. really, really evocative, it definitely captures the energy of stuff like Propylene and it's FASCINATING to see more of Purgatory Syndrome's world. soul stuff is ridiculously cool and weird and hot and you do it so much justice here
