happy #fossilfriday! this is sillosuchus, a shuvosaurid from late triassic argentina. the shuvosaurids were beaked, bipedal herbivores belonging to the superfamily poposauroidea, which also included the carnivorous dromaeosaur lookalike poposaurus

Ctenosauriscidae only has 3 "decent" species (with more than a few chunks of bones), but the enigma they present as really derived pseudosuchians (under Poposauroidea), yet chronollogically being the oldest archosaurs (eeaaarly triassic) its really annoying lmao. #paleoart

Arizonasaurus a pretty unique Poposauroidea, it was the first of the remodel fossils to make them higher Quality as well as fix issues
