I keep getting this recommended to me after reading Piranesi. I'll have to pick it up if it captures that same eerie fantasy! That's exactly what I've been craving

Books like Piranesi

I recently finished Piranesi and I loved the image of an otherworldly labyrinth with rules different than our own world. However, I was a little disappointed with how much we got to see of the House in Piranesi. Does anyone have any book …

Reading Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. Watching...a bunch of random stuff, really. But today the Jujutsu Kaisen anime returns I think, so, looking forward to that.

Read Katabasis, Piranesi, and Starling House last year, and Anti-Memetics and Ship of Magic rather longer ago. All great reads!

I'd bet on the Stephen Graham Jones and James S. A. Corey also being excellent - Buffalo Hunter Hunter was phenomenal, and I loved Leviathan Wakes.

Firmemente convencida de que el mundo se divide entre los que amamos "Piranesi" y los que todavía no se lo han leído.

I did not! I was extremely shocked to see Ramanujan mentioned, even if extremely tangentially, in Piranesi, haha.

I finished Piranesi in two days, because I was hooked from the get-go.

It was wonderful reading this after Ramanujan's biography, as there's something about mystic mathematics and the themes of Piranesi that fit nicely together. Piranesi's reverence for the House reminds me of Ramanujan's piety.

Just finished reading St Peter's Snow by Perutz, somebody had recommended it as kind of a little reminiscent of Piranesi. It was good, a short and quick read, give it a whirl if it's at your library.
